Application to install - Oracle XE 11g DB
Version - 11g, 32/64 bit??
When trying to install 64bit on windows 7, it got stuck in between and I have to kill the process and remove all the installed files/directores.
Then tried to install 32bit and this too failed.
There are few useful blogs to fix these kind of issues, but in my case issue got fixed by following steps in both these blogs
